Love Letter

re you a catholic who has stopped coming to Sunday Mass? Or do you go only at Christmas and Easter? Why? In any case, please come home.

Have you received this Love Letter before? If so, don't you think it's time to do something about it?

Whether you have been bored, frustrated, angered, hurt or just careless, we want you to come home where you belong. Are any of these real reasons to deny your place in God's family?

Surely you know how much God loves you. His Son died so that you might live. But salvation is not automatic. We must want it, and in wanting it, we have to make the effort. The Eucharist is the perfect prayer because it is Jesus offering it, and being offered.

If you haven’t had much time for God lately, especially through Sunday Worship, or you want Him to accept you on your terms, and at your convenience, don’t you think it’s time you changed your mind and your lifestyle?

You’ve been missing a lot in your relationship with God. The family of St. Luke’s wants that to change because we love you, we miss you, and we want to celebrate with you. When members of our family are away from us most of the year, and away from the Sacraments, we all suffer.

If you’re a parent, you owe it to your children to show them the way. After all, that’s what you promised them at their Baptism! You are the first teacher of your children in the ways of Faith. You must be the best in what you say and what you do.

Please come home! But not just for the day. Come home to your family.
