"Following the wise counsels of the Holy Pontiff, the Heralds of the Gospel make ample use of music to add more life to the liturgical celebrations. In so doing, they serve as an extension for the voice and arms of our Pastors, in order to inspire men and women of our time to strive for sanctity."

Heralds of the Gospel Visit
On Sunday, February 8th, the Choir and Brass ensemble of the Heralds animated the Eucharistic Celebration.

At the end of Mass, parishioners and Heralds mingled to know each other more and to share new friendships.
"Thank you for coming. It was wonderful!" exclaimed a young mother of four.
"What a marvelous job you did. It was a boost of energy to us all," pondered a gentleman in his early sixties.

"Whom should I talk to, so you can come to my parish?" wondered another lady, trying to locate our Music Director.
Meanwhile, a young grandmother confided to one of the Heralds: "You know, when I heard Panis Angelicus, I said to myself: ‘That’s it…this is already Heaven!’"

About the Heralds of the Gospel
The Heralds of the Gospel were approved by the Pope in 2001 as a private association comprised mainly of young people who practice celibacy and dedicate their entire lives to the apostolate. Their life of recollection, study and prayer alternates with activities of evangelization in dioceses and parishes, giving special emphasis to the formation of youth.
